Curriculum Intent

We deliver a bespoke computing curriculum that enables our children to be digital citizens in a technology-rich world; a world in which they are not just consumers, but also content creators. Our computing curriculum enables our children to respond to digital content critically, responsibly, and respectfully in 21st century Britain.

Computing will:

·        Teach our children the principles of Information Technology and computation, how digital systems work, and how to put this knowledge to use through programming.

·        Equip our children with the knowledge, skills, and understanding to use Information Technology to create programs, and a range of content.

·        Ensure our pupils are digitally literate and make a positive contribution to the digital world, by teaching them how to use devices safely and responsibly.
