Curriculum Intent
At Stoke Heath, we take a personal interest in our local area and where it fits in to the wider world. In our bespoke curriculum, our pupils learn about Stoke Heath and places around the world that are significant to our community. Stoke Heath Geographers use field work and investigation skills to explore where these places are and the features that make them unique, as well as learning about the similarities that other communities around the globe have with our own.
The curriculum is designed to develop skills and knowledge in a progressive manner that creates globally-minded children who are active participants in the world around them. They are curious about the world they live in and understand that their impact extends beyond Stoke Heath. We are determined to help our children become aware of the challenges that our planet faces and equip them with the skills to impact the future in whatever way they choose.
